Conspiracy? Why is industrial hemp illegal?
Industrial hemp and marijuana are two different things they are in fact the same plant cannabis sativa. But they are bred for different purposes marijuana of course is bred for getting high. And industrial hemp is bred for textiles, food and a whole host of other products. Industrial hemp cannot get you high no matter how hard you try you would die first before you ever got high if you tried to smoke enough industrial hemp. Industrial hemp contains next to zero THC than marijuana. Industrial hemp has the strongest fiber of all natural plants, it has many essential vitamins vital to a good health, it makes paper that doesn’t fade. Our country was founded on hemp at one time it was illegal not to grow it.
So why now does the government say we cant grow hemp? The government lumps hemp together with marijuana and claims that marijuana could be hidden in fields of hemp which is untrue. Industrial hemp is spaced close together A it would block out the sun needed to sustain a marijuana plant, B It would get ruined by cross pollination of the two plants resulting in a lower thc level. So in short the drug marijuana can not i repeat cannot be grown in fields of hemp. So this claim makes no sense. Why Is hemp illegal then why does the government have to make such a blatantly misinformed claim about hemp?
The theory is that the petro-chemical company’s, you know the ones who are robbing you blind everyday? And claiming that alternatives are at least ten years off and that the only solution is to keep drilling. Now i think that drilling in new places is an excellent way to lower gas prices but its not a permanent solution. The oil companies are afraid that hemp could replace them henry ford the inventor of the automobile ran his first cars off hemp based fuel not gasoline not only that but he also made his cars from plastic that was stronger than steel. What was this super plastic made from? Not synthetic polystyrene or any fancy chemical it was non other than hemp mixed with other plant celluloses. So hemp was definatly a contender in the plastics industry.
Not only this but hemp also makes the strongest natural fiber known to man much stronger than cotton. So why then is cotton remembered as such an important crop but hemp considered a demon weed? Hemp has been used for many thousands of years it has single handedly shaped the human species and how does the us government thank this miracle plant for all its done? It makes it illegal so it can profit from the oil industry instead. Open your eyes America stand up Hemp is an important plant and is the most eco friendly option out there. Raise awareness help make industrial hemp legal…Canada does it and in 2006 it was Canada’s most profitable crop. We should join in grow up and realize that the answer to our problems has been made illegal so the government can profit from the more expensive petroleum industry remember that the next time your fueling up. That that plant called marijuana could fuel your car in a much greener way.

Tabacco gives you cancer; it has killed millions. It remains legal. Alcohol alters your behavior. It make you violent, it destroy personal lives and kills innocent people via drunk diriving. It still remains legal. Presribed drugs from Medical Doctors are known to cause side effects. cause cancer and even cause death to its patients. Yet their drugs and their pushers (lincese Doctors)
activities remain legal. Cannabis has done none of the above, yet it remains illegal. Hummmm .interesting indeed!
